In a massive blow to the media narrative that President Trump does not support LGBT causes, the White House is launching a global campaign to end the criminalization of homosexuality in nations where it is still illegal.
The effort is being spearheaded by U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, the highest-ranking member of the Trump administration – or in any Republican administration for that matter – who is openly gay.
NBC News reports that the U.S. embassy in Berlin is flying LGBT activists in from throughout Europe for a dinner to strategize how to push for decriminalization in areas where homosexuality is outlawed, sometimes with severe penalties.
Areas of concentration will particularly involve the Middle East, Africa, and the Carribean.
“It is concerning that, in the 21st century, some 70 countries continue to have laws that criminalize LGBTI status or conduct,” one U.S. official close to the effort stated.

The Barbaric Act That Started It
News of this worldwide campaign to legalize homosexuality in nation’s still living in the stone age must come as a major surprise to a liberal media who has consistently portrayed life for the LGBT community under President Trump as oppressive as living in Saudi Arabia.
Or Iran, for that matter, who just so happens to be a catalyst for this new effort.
Yes, the country that the left’s beloved muse Barack Obama played footsie with throughout his two terms, recently executed a young gay man by hanging.
“This is not the first time the Iranian regime has put a gay man to death with the usual outrageous claims of prostitution, kidnapping, or even pedophilia, Grenell said. “And it sadly won’t be the last time.”
“Barbaric public executions are all too common in a country where consensual homosexual relationships are criminalized and punishable by flogging and death.”

Trump’s Support of the LGBT Community
While most opposition to President Trump from the gay community centers around issues of his fight for religious freedom, and a ban on transgendered individuals in the military, the fact is the administration is now embarking on the boldest pro-gay agenda item probably in the history of this nation.
Gay marriage, a political stunt and ‘evolution’ by the previous president, is miniscule in importance ranked with the basic human right to not be executed for your sexual preferences.
“As your president, I will do everything in my power to protect LGBTQ citizens,” then-candidate Donald Trump said at the Republican National Convention in July of 2016.
Now he’s carrying that view to the rest of the world.
