Weekend Recession: Watch Dirk Nowitzky Perform Dramatic Reading of “Oops… I Did It Again”

Last Friday we brought you a segment called the Weekend Recession.  A little light-hearted video to leave you with over the next couple of days.  Our moment of zen, so to speak.

So we thought long and hard about what would leave the best taste in your mouth until Monday, and we came up with this – A seven foot NBA player performing a dramatic reading of pop has-been, Britney Spears. Why not, right?

Check it out.  Laugh, cry.  Your sides will split, your eyes may bleed.  But please enjoy nonetheless.  Also come back tomorrow and vote on our latest weekend poll.  Thanks!

Via the Huffington Post:

Dirk Nowitzki is not that innocent.

The beloved seven-foot German, who plays power forward for the Dallas Mavericks, left the locker room for the den and regaled us with a dramatic reading from his favorite poem, “Oops! …I Did It Again” by noted American writer Britney Spears.

Just hilarious!
