The video revelation is just the latest in a long string of controversy for Omar, who has a history of making anti-Semitic comments, defending wannabe terrorists trying to join ISIS, and most recently, downplaying the significance of the horror, fear, and trauma inflicted by the terrorist attacks on 9/11.

Perhaps you should cut people some slack if they raise their shoulders a little bit when they discuss a group who conducted the deadliest terror attack on American soil. Maybe don’t downplay it. And maybe, under no circumstances, laugh at those who take that day quite seriously.
How this person is still in Congress, let alone a key member of the Foreign Affairs Committee, is anybody’s guess.
