Video Evidence Suggests Trey Gowdy Really Does Have Ice In His Veins

Republicans appear to be getting a little more giddy in the era of Trump.

Congressman Trey Gowdy, known for his no-nonsense, killer verbal and legal assaults on the opposition, appeared in an interview segment with Wolf Blitzer on CNN’s The Situation Room.

With a corridor in the U.S. Capitol as the backdrop, the background video was full of bustling activity – from lawmakers to janitorial service members.

Shortly into the segment, Rep. Sean Duffy (R-WI) walked by and casually decided to play a prank on his colleague – in the middle of a live interview!

Upon approaching, Duffy reached out his arm and gave Gowdy a whack on the ear. LOL … Watch!

Gowdy, ever the Ice Man, didn’t even flinch. That’s some Chuck Norris-level discipline right there from the gentleman from South Carolina!

Via Mediaite:

Rep. Sean Duffy of Wisconsin pulled a little horseplay on his Republican colleague, Rep. Trey Gowdy, on Wednesday while the latter was appearing on CNN’s The Situation Room.

Duffy walked by during the live shot inside a corridor in the U.S. Capitol and touched the South Carolina congressman on the ear. Amazingly, Gowdy didn’t miss a beat as he replied to a question from anchor Wolf Blitzer on FBI Director James Comey‘s testimony to Congress earlier in the day.

CNN acknowledged the funny exchange …

Duffy confirmed on social media that he was testing Gowdy to see if the man is genuinely as steely and cold as he appears.

Gotta love Gowdy, the man is always on a mission to deliver the truth. Even on a network not necessarily interested in it.

Did the exchange between Duffy and Gowdy make you laugh? Like and share this post!
