Hillary underestimated the fight in this chica. That could turn out to be an expensive mistake. tulsi gabbard lawsuit
Obviously, we don’t support ANY of the candidates on the Left, but the coordinated way in which Tulsi Gabbard and Anthony Yang (like Sanders was last time) are smeared and attacked is heavy-handed and ignores the will of their own voters. And we’ve been calling the Left on it.
Now it could (finally) be time for Hillary to pay the piper, and held accountable for her casual defamation of anyone with whom she disagrees.
You will remember that clip where Hillary made the outrageously stupid claim that Tulsi was a Russian shill, right?
We reported that story when it first broke, here. But here’s the key takeaway:
Plouffe and Clinton discussed hurdles the Democratic nominee would face and compared the 2020 race to Clinton’s loss to Trump in 2016. Plouffe asked Clinton about the part third-party candidates, such as Jill Stein of the Green Party, played in 2016, allowing Trump to secure key states.
“They are also going to do third party again,” Clinton said. “I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton said, referring to Gabbard, without mentioning the Hawaii representative by name.
“She is a favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far. That’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she is also a Russian asset.
“They know they can’t win without a third-party candidate, and so I do not know who it’s going to be, but I can guarantee you they will have a vigorous third-party challenge in the key states that they most need it.”
Hillary supporters are now saying that Hillary never *explicitly* said that SHE was a Russian asset.
When pressed by reporters if Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard was the Russian asset of 2020 that Hillary Clinton was referring to, Clinton spox Nick Merrill replied,“If the nesting doll fits.”
All hail my queen!

Did it hurt her reputation? Sure it did – just looking for this story on Twitter, this appeared in the sidebar:
The idea of Tulsi being somehow a Russian puppet has obviously entered into the ‘consciousness’ of social media.
Here’s Tulsi’s press release:
Washington, DC – Tulsi Gabbard, a United States Congresswoman, Army National Guard Major, and 2020 presidential candidate, today filed a defamation lawsuit against Hillary Rodham Clinton. Gabbard, a U.S. Representative for Hawaii’s 2nd congressional district, asserts in her complaint that Clinton deliberately and maliciously made false statements in an attempt to derail Rep. Gabbard’s campaign, by alleging that Gabbard is a “Russian asset.” The complaint was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York by Brian Dunne and Dan Terzian, Rep. Gabbard’s legal counsel and partners at Pierce Bainbridge Beck Price & Hecht LLP.
Clinton was the 2016 Democratic Party nominee for President of the United States, United States Secretary of State from 2009 until 2013, a United States Senator for the State of New York from 2001 to 2009, and the First Lady of the United States from 1993 to 2001. On October 17, 2019, she publicly stated in an interview that “somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary … [is a] favorite of the Russians… Yeah, she’s a Russian asset.” The press extensively republished and disseminated these statements, which were interpreted widely as Clinton asserting that Gabbard is a Russian asset.
The complaint seeks compensatory damages and an injunction prohibiting the further publication of Clinton’s defamatory statements.
The case is Tulsi Gabbard and Tulsi Now, Inc. v. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
