Good, it’s about time some conservative news outlets got a role in the press pool and replaced these leftist hacks.

President Trump’s frustration with what he calls ‘fake news’ organizations was on full display Wednesday morning, as he pondered having credentials pulled from outlets he considers dishonest.

“Just reported that, despite the tremendous success we are having with the economy & all things else, 91% of the Network News about me is negative (Fake),” he complained. “Why do we work so hard in working with the media when it is corrupt?”

Trump offered a possible solution to the scourge of ‘fake news.’

“Take away credentials?” he wondered.

President Trump was referencing a recent study that showed during the first quarter of 2018, 90 percent of White House coverage from the media was negative.

This, despite the GOP tax cuts. Despite establishing a peace process on the Korean peninsula. Despite wiping out Obama’s JV team, ISIS.

No, to the American mainstream media, a weak Russia collusion story and a porn star named Stormy are what’s most important to their viewers.

Naturally, media members weren’t amused with the prospect of having credentials revoked.

Raju is a Senior Congressional Correspondent with CNN, the network that, to paraphrase Linus from Peanuts, of all the fake news outlets out there, is the ‘fakiest.’

It isn’t a matter of providing coverage that he likes or wants, it’s a matter of getting their stories straight.

Are we that far separated from watching NBC post a story about Michael Cohen having his phones wiretapped, then correcting the story within a couple of hours?

Then there are the anti-Trump wingnuts in the White House press pool the likes of April Ryan and Jim Acosta. They’re not seeking the truth. They create their own narratives.

“No politician in history, and I say this with great surety, has been treated worse or more unfairly,” Trump has said of the media.

The difference this time? Despite the overwhelmingly negative coverage, the American people aren’t buying it.

“The onslaught appears to be for naught,” Rich Noyes of NewsBusters writes. “In the face of massive and hostile coverage from ABC, CBS and NBC, Trump’s overall job approval rating actually rose, from 37 percent in mid-December to roughly 43 percent at the end of April.”

That number would have to go even higher if he were to pull credentials from biased organizations and started putting actual journalists in the press pool.
