If you thought President Trump was going to tone down his brand of no holds barred politics while on a state visit to the United Kingdom, think again.

During a press conference with British journalists, all while outgoing Prime Minister Theresa May looked on, Trump blasted his left-wing critics, particularly London Mayor Sadiq Khan and opposition Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn.

The President followed up his recent remarks that Khan is “a stone-cold loser” when prompted by a reporter, criticizing Khan for the high crime rate in London and referencing an op-ed the mayor wrote stating Trump is “one of the most egregious examples of a growing global threat.”

Trump Unloads

“You’re talking about the mayor of London, is that who you said? Yes,” Trump responded to one reporter. “Well, I think he has been a not very good mayor from what I understand.”

“I don’t think he should be criticizing a representative of the United States that can do so much good for the United Kingdom,” the President said adding, Khan “hurts the people of this great country and I think he should actually focus on his job.”

Trump ripped Khan for the growing crime rate in London as well, saying “he’s probably caused” a lot of those problems.

According to the BBC, the number of killings in London rose to the highest level in a decade in 2018, despite Khan’s firm anti-gun and anti-knife – yes, anti-knife – policies.

“There is never a reason to carry a knife,” Khan said as such attacks were rising in 2018. “Anyone who does will be caught, and they will feel the full force of the law.”

“He’s done a poor job, crime is up, a lot of problems,” Trump said of the mayor.

The Khan/Trump feud has been going on for some time, as the London mayor does indeed resemble a pint-sized version of the ever-oblivious de Blasio, flailing all over the place with his critiques while seeking the adoration of his radical base.

Last month, Khan asserted Donald Trump does not deserve a state visit to the United Kingdom in the first place and claimed the American President was not “in the same class” as former President Barack Obama.

To that point, Khan is correct – Obama was on the JV team for eight years while Trump is taking home championship trophies in his first term.

Hammers Jeremy Corbyn

Meanwhile, during the press conference, the President confirmed that Corbyn had sought a sit-down meeting, but he decided to snub him because he is a “negative force.”

Corbyn has been repeatedly accused of anti-Semitism and has referred to terrorist organizations Hamas and Hezbollah as “friends.”

New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez praised Corbyn recently and fawned over their “lovely and wide-reaching conversation.”

Contrast that with Trump, who told the British media, “I don’t know Jeremy Corbyn, never met him, never spoke to him – he wanted to meet today or tomorrow and I decided I would not do that.”

“I think that he is, from where I come from, somewhat of a negative force. I think people should look to do things correctly as opposed to criticize. I really don’t like critics as much as I like and respect people who get things done,” the President added.
