Trump Hammers Media For Blatantly Biased Coverage of Coronavirus

President Trump lashed out at media coverage of his handling of the coronavirus saying the only thing he sees being produced is “hatred of me.”

The comments come as Trump grows increasingly frustrated that, despite his best efforts to update the public and implement policies which will benefit the American people, the mainstream media continually portray him as a bumbling racist.

He spared virtually no network, even lashing out at Fox News for trying to placate the left.

Trump’s Ire

The President took to social media to engage in a well-justified tirade against the media.

“I watch and listen to the Fake News, CNN, MSDNC, ABC, NBC, CBS, some of FOX (desperately [and] foolishly pleading to be politically correct), the [New York Times], [and] the [Washington Post], and all I see is hatred of me at any cost,” he accurately observed.

“Don’t they understand that they are destroying themselves?” he concluded.

The media have been destroying themselves for decades now, pretending to not be a biased entity when anyone in today’s day and age can fact-check their reporting from home by using a search engine.

He Wasn’t Through With Them

The President wasn’t through, singling out the New York Times for their shoddy efforts to cover the coronavirus crisis like real journalists should.

This morning, the Times ran an absolute hit job with an article featuring a handful of people who say Trump’s use of the phrase “Chinese virus” is leading to racist attacks.

“As bigots blame them for the coronavirus and President Trump labels it the ‘Chinese virus,’ many Chinese-Americans say they are terrified of what could come next,” they wrote.

Nobody is blaming Chinese-Americans for anything, save for the most ignorant and childlike of individuals in this country.

The article claims there is a rise in “verbal and physical assaults” on Asian-Americans despite admitting “no firm numbers exist yet.”

Bang-up job of reporting there from the Jussie Smollett school of journalism.

They Changed Their Headline to Appease Democrats trump media coronavirus

President Trump also went after the New York Times for altering a headline that was originally critical of Democrats for blocking a coronavirus stimulus package that would help Americans through turbulent economic times.

The original headline to the piece accurately read, “Democrats Block Action on $1.8 Trillion Stimulus.”

They later added an explanation to defend the Democrats: “Democrats Block Action on Stimulus Plan, Seeking Worker Protections.”

If that wasn’t enough, the New York Times changed the headline yet again to remove any inclination that Democrats were to blame for the stimulus failure.

“Partisan Divide Threatens Deal on Rescue Bill,” it reads.

The headline morphed from correctly blaming Democrats for the economic suffering of millions of Americans, to adding an explanation, to finally saying each side is equally to blame.

Journalism in this country is dead. And President Trump killed it.
