President Trump blasted Hillary Clinton over her smear of Tulsi Gabbard, saying he’s glad that others are finally starting to realize she’s “crazy.”

Trump made the comments during an interview with Fox News personality, Sean Hannity.

“Then you have Hillary Clinton saying two days ago, ‘Tulsi Gabbard is a Russian asset,’ and that Jill Stein was a Russian agent,” the President recalled.

“I said, wait a minute, it took me two-and-a-half years, I wish she would have said that earlier because people … have realized she is crazy,” he jabbed. “She’s crazy.”

Hillary’s Wild Conspiracy

Perhaps the best thing to come out of Hillary’s comments is the fact that the smear is so wild and baseless that it diminishes all of the Russian collusion talking points Democrats have been trying to foment for years against the President.

“I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve [Russians] got their eye on somebody who is currently in the Democratic primary and are grooming her to be the third-party candidate,” Clinton said without evidence.

And she didn’t stop there.

“She is a favorite of the Russians,” the former First Lady continued. “They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far. That’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she is also a Russian asset.”

Even members of Hillary’s own party have come out and defended Gabbard, a woman they don’t particularly like, against the accusations.

Trump Reminds Hillary That Obama Did Nothing to Stop the Russians

Aside from pointing out – rightly so – that Hillary has gone off the deep end with her Russia anxiety, Trump also noted during the interview that the one person who had the ability to stop election meddling in 2016 chose to do nothing about it.

“It started before the election,” Trump recalled. “And President Obama in September was told about Russian influence and he didn’t want to do anything about it.”

“He didn’t want to do a thing about it because he assumed Hillary was going to win.”

President Trump’s statements were confirmed when Michael Daniel, cybersecurity coordinator under Barack Obama, said that his proposals to take down Russian propaganda news sites and to attack Russian intelligence agencies were shot down by former national security adviser Susan Rice.

“Don’t get ahead of us,” Rice reportedly told Daniel in a meeting in August of 2016.

“Why the hell are we standing down?” one of his staffers asked. “Michael, can you help us understand?”

Perhaps they were standing down because Obama was the true ‘Russian asset.’
