Trump Dances to YMCA Hours After Media Questions Whether He’d Be Able to Make It Through a Rally

President Trump delivered a powerful, on-point message at a rally in Florida Monday evening, even closing out by dancing to the Village People’s hit song, YMCA. dances

The President’s messaging comes on the same day his opponent, Joe Biden, struggled by appearing to forget Mitt Romney’s name and saying he was running for Senate.

Trump, by contrast, declared that he was feeling quite well in his first rally since recovering from COVID-19.

“I went through it. Now they say I’m immune. I feel so powerful,” he boasted.

“I’ll walk into the audience. I’ll walk in there. I’ll kiss everyone in that audience,” the President joked. “I’ll kiss the guys and the beautiful women. Everybody. I’ll just give you a big fat kiss.”

Is Trump going to win in 2020?

He even delivered a viral moment, breaking out the dance moves for his supporters.

Trump Dances to YMCA

In videos that were shared widely following his campaign speech, the President can be seen dancing to the popular hit song, YMCA.

The Daily Mirror reported that the seemingly spontaneous move meant that “the 74-year-old was keen to show his supporters he was back to full health.”

But Trump has been spotted dancing to the song numerous times during campaign stops long before his bout with coronavirus.

Daily Motion posted this video of President Trump as he dances to YMCA at an event in Ohio on September 21st.

Not everyone was pleased with the dancing.

Will Black, an author, tweeted his anger:

“210,000 of YOUR citizens – under YOUR watch – are DEAD and there are millions bereaved,” he wrote. “You want to be reelected and so need to show compassion, care, empathy and professionalism.”

Media Questioned Whether He Could Make It Through Rally Speech

President Trump’s viral dance moment comes hours after the New York Times questioned whether or not he was well enough to even make it through a campaign speech.

“Supporters and critics of the president were likely to focus as much on how the president looked and sounded at the rally as on anything he said,” they wrote.

“The question of whether he will remain healthy enough to make it through a full Trumpian performance — usually about 90 minutes — without flagging is one that will likely hover over him until the election on Nov. 3.”

As of Tuesday morning, the Times had updated their article, adding this sentence to the same paragraph.

“On Monday night, he appeared virtually back to himself despite a scratchy-sounding voice, clocking in at 65 minutes,” they reported.

Perhaps they were hoping he’d show up looking frail and bewildered. It appears to have been more wishful thinking than anything else.

  1. Biden is just a clueless, sad, sorry old placeholder. He doesn’t even realize that Pelosi is dusting off the 25th Amendment just to dump him as soon as the election is over (if by some remote chance they cheat enough to win). Obama’s own doctor stated yesterday that Biden did not have any cognitive abilities left that would allow him to ingest information or solve any problems. The man can’t even drive any more.

It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s tough to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal.
