With Donald Trump’s victory in the 2016 presidential election, we’d like to take the time to remind some of our top Hollywood celebrities about their promise to leave the country and move to Canada.
Time to put your money where your mouth is, Hollywood. You wanted to move thinking another country would be better than the one that made you stars? Start booking the flights, get your passport ready, and gas up the limos!
Here is a look at the top 5 celebrities who promised to move out of the United States.
Hit the road, Rosie. Trump said that if O’Donnell moved to Canada he’d be doing “a great service to our country.” We agree.
Former co-host of The View with the aforementioned O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg said Trump was making her think of leaving the country.
“Maybe it’s time for me to move, you know. I can afford to go,” she said after claiming Trump is “not the president I want.”
Cyrus, of Hannah Montana fame, and for her excessive use of tongue wagging and twerking in everything she does, said she would “move out da country” if Trump, whom she called a “f*cking nightmare,” were to win the election.
We think she should follow up on that threat and get ‘out da country.’ It’s be best for everyone … The best of both worlds so to speak.
Samuel L. Jackson
Hey, Mr. Jackson, what’s in your wallet? Hopefully a passport straight out of the country.
Jackson told Jimmy Kimmel, “If that motherf*cker becomes president, I’m moving my black ass to South Africa.”
We’re certain things will be much better in South Africa. Good luck with the movie career there!
Who the heck is Lena Dunham, you ask? Yeah, we don’t really know either. But she did say she was heading to Canada if Trump wins.
“I know a lot of people have been threatening to do this, but I really will,” she said, before mentioning “a lovely place in Vancouver.”
We’ll especially enjoy this move, since Dunham is one of Hollywood’s more vile leftists, having fabricated a story about a prominent Republican “raping her” when she was a student at Oberlin College. A lie that would ruin the careers of most people … just not in Hollywood.
