‘Spoiled Rotten Brat’ AOC Gets Hammered By Candace Owens For Claiming Her Work Ethic Is Better Than Republicans

Conservative activist Candace Owens torched Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) following comments in which the New York socialist insisted her work ethic is more intense than any Republican.

AOC took aim at those critics who believe her previous career as a waitress has left her ill-prepared for a role in Congress.

She believes it made her a hard worker. Much harder than anybody on the other side of the aisle.

“Republicans like to make fun of the fact that I used to be a waitress,” she tweeted.

Were President Trump's four years in office a success?

“But we all know if they ever had to do a double they’d be the ones found crying in the walk-in fridge halfway through their first shift [because] someone yelled at them for bringing seltzer when they wanted sparkling.”

Because Ocasio-Cortez is the only one who has ever had to work extra hours to put themselves through college or take care of their family, or just to get ahead.

Candace Owens Lets AOC Have It For Those Remarks About Work Ethic

In a remarkable takedown, Candace Owens blasted Ocasio-Cortez for suggesting a work ethic that nearly everybody in America has when they first start out in the job world is unique.

She even referred to AOC as a “coastal elitist” suggesting her comments make her sound like a “spoiled rotten brat.”

“I used to be a waitress and I worked multiple doubles,” Owens replied. “I am laughing out loud at how much of a coastal elitist you have to be to view that as the definition of a hard day at work.

“Please get on a plane and see the rest of the world (or country) you spoiled rotten brat,” she continued.

In a follow-up tweet, Candace Owens mocked AOC yet again by mimicking her ‘work ethic’ rant.

“And then he sent his French fries back THREE times! Republicans could NEVER handle that,” she joked.

Former Republican candidate for vice president Sarah Palin joined Candace Owens and took her own jab at AOC.

“Listen, sweetie, you know how many of us waitressed through high school to save up for college?” Palin asked. “Then waitressed and blue-collared throughout to get our degrees? You know how many hard-working, selfless American workers [continue] to do so?”

She continued, “With babies to care for, elderly parents to tend to, businesses to run, voluntarily helping others, working second- and third jobs, etc without whining and drawing the self-attention for which you’re known?”

Ocasio-Cortez, as she is known to do, failed to show humility and instead responded to the controversy by insinuating her Republican critics are just old.

“These Republicans who are defensively rage-tweeting ‘But you’re wrong! I worked my way to pay through college!!’ don’t realize they sound like folks who speak of the days when Hershey bars were 5¢ at the general store,” she shot back.

Ocasio-Cortez and Her Congressional ‘Work Ethic’

Making the case that she has an incredible work ethic because she used to work double shifts and that Republican lawmakers wouldn’t be able to keep up with her is a curious tactic for the New York socialist.

AOC is, after all, the same woman who claimed she deserved a payraise just five months into her term, complained it actually wasn’t high enough, and then later said she was being worked too hard.

“It’s not even like a raise,” she said in June of 2019, regarding a proposed $4,500 pay hike.

A month later, Ocasio-Cortez whined that Democrat leaders such as Nancy Pelosi were trying to muzzle her by … making her work.

“I was assigned to two of some of the busiest committees and four subcommittees,” AOC said at the time, after having declined a seat offered to her on a climate change committee.

“So my hands are full. And sometimes I wonder if they’re trying to keep me busy,” Ocasio-Cortez groused.

Now suddenly she is the model of a rigorous work ethic.
