Not sure it’ll take very long to locate the evidence, but somebody in Washington County decided to walk – or rather, drive – off with an entire mobile home.

Via the Times Union:

A mobile home was stolen from the parking lot of the Big Apple Diner on State Route 4 in Hampton, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The trailer was parked at the lot in mid-August and taken sometime around 5 p.m. Sept. 23 by a person driving a white tractor, officials said.

No further description of the trailer was available. It was last seen headed northbound toward Vermont on State Route 4, the sheriff’s office said.

The trailer is a tan 2009 Pine Grove series GH016-496 mobile home, 16 feet by 70 feet, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, central air conditioning and some furniture.

Actually, I rescind my original comment since the home appears to have been on the lam for over a week.  Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘mobile home.’
