And the media scoffs when President Trump or conservative media refer to the ‘deep state’ or groups of people embedded within the administration to inflict self-damage.
Turns out, one of the socialist activists who took part in harassing Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen while she tried to have dinner at a public restaurant on Tuesday night, actually works at the Department of Justice.
Allison Hrabar, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), a group who harrassed Nielsen over the administration’s family border separation policies, isn’t just an intern either. She’s a paralegal specialist.

“It feels really good to confront people who are actually responsible, which is what we have a unique opportunity to do in D.C.,” Hraber was quoted as saying about the confrontation that forced the DHS head to flee the restaurant.

“Can you enjoy a Mexican dinner as you’re deporting … tens of thousands of people who come here seeking asylum in the United States,” one protester reportedly shouted.
Others chanted “abolish ICE” and “shame, shame, shame!!”
Perhaps their time would be better spent protesting the awful parents and/or adults who bring their children with them on a law-breaking escapade, placing them in danger, rather than the woman responsible for keeping them safe.
The DSA issued a statement vowing to continue harassing Nielsen saying she cannot be allowed to “dine in peace.”
Hrabar concurs, saying: “If you see these people in public, you should remind them that they shouldn’t have peace.”
“We aren’t the only ones who can do this,” she further threatened. “Anyone who sees Kirstjen Nielsen at dinner, anyone who sees anyone who works at DHS and ICE at dinner can confront them like this, and that’s what we hope this will inspire people to do.”

Hrabar claims taking part in the protest was not something associated with her job at the Department of Justice and that she was simply exercising her First Amendment right while being off the clock.
The Daily Caller, however, reports that Hrabar took to social media during work hours to celebrate the protest.
“No one who has ever made their living terrorizing immigrants deserves peace, she wrote. “If you see one in a restaurant, at a movie, or in your neighborhood, remind them of that.”
