CNN reporter Manu Raju attempted to get a comment from Senator Martha McSally regarding alleged new impeachment evidence, but she swept him aside swiftly and called him a “liberal hack.” martha mcsally raju
The amusing exchange took place as Raju sought to obtain statements from lawmakers about evidence that Democrats located in the several weeks in which they withheld articles of impeachment from the Senate.
For some reason, the mainstream media is under the impression that Senators are bound to investigate this newfound evidence. Kind of like having a jury find somebody guilty of a misdemeanor and then at the punishment phase demand they be punished for murder.
“Senator McSally, should the Senate consider new evidence as part of the impeachment trial?” Raju said.
Clearly not having any time for games, McSally responded, “You’re a liberal hack. I’m not talking to you.”
Shocked, Raju pressed, “You’re not going to comment?”
“You’re a liberal hack,” she shot back.
Sen. Martha McSally, a Republican facing a difficult election race, lashed out when I asked if she would consider new evidence as part of the Senate trial. “You’re a liberal hack – I’m not talking to you. You’re a liberal hack.” She then walked into a hearing room.

Slapped Him Again on Social Media
Raju took to Twitter to let his followers know about the tense exchange, saying McSally “lashed out,” essentially ducked into a hearing room to avoid him, and it was all likely due to the pressure of “facing a difficult election race.”
McSally responded almost immediately, slapping him down once more in just five words.
A) you are.
B) here’s the video.

David Perdue, a Republican from Georgia, gave Raju a slightly more relaxed answer explaining that the Senate should “absolutely not” take any newfound evidence into consideration “because that’s not our job.”
“Our job is to respond to what we’ve been given in the case that was built by the House,” Perdue said adding, “They’ve given us two very weak articles of impeachment.”

Raju, a Senior Congressional Correspondent with CNN who describes his job as “prowling the Capitol halls,” didn’t get the answer he wanted and went running to social media to complain about it.
McSally swatted him away.
Raju was one of the CNN reporters complaining when President Trump was floating the notion of taking press credentials away from ‘fake news’ outlets.

He had, just months earlier, shown his super-serious media chops by sharing a video obtained by CNN cameramen hiding in the bushes in an attempt to catch the President playing golf.
Judging by that effort, McSally was right.
