Is This the Saddest Picture of Hillary Clinton You’ve Ever Seen?

Hillary Clinton has resurfaced from her post-election hiding spot, and a photo captured by a former New York Times photographer shows that she still might not be over her historic loss.

The photo shows Clinton enjoying a breakfast at the Mohonk Mountain House in upstate New York. Well, enjoying might be a bit of a stretch.

To say the former ‘inevitable’ first female president looked down, would be an understatement …

To paraphrase the great David Lee Roth – She looks ‘sad and lonely, sad and lonely.’

… we’ve been left largely with images snapped of Clinton by those who live in Chappaqua, New York, where Hillary resides. The New York Times’ Carolyn Ryan noted that the picture was taken by her ex-colleague, Mike Smith. Besides looking, well, sad, Clinton looking at her phone also led some to make jokes about emails and reference the famous image of her checking her phone as Secretary of State.

Comment: What do you make of this image of Hillary Clinton sitting at a table by herself, staring into her phone? Does she appear to be sad? Share your thoughts below.
