Barack Obama spent much of the 2016 campaign confident that Hillary Clinton would succeed him in the White House but responded like a sore loser when he realized Donald Trump had won, calling the President-elect a “cartoon” figure during a private meeting with aides fotos von iphone 4 herunterladen.
This, according to a new memoir by former Obama adviser, Ben Rhodes.
In the book, titled “The World as It Is,” Rhodes explains that Obama went through multiple emotions in trying to accept what had happened herunterladen. He was angry at times, resigned to what was happening at others, and clearly angry that the American people chose Trump over Hillary.
“I don’t know,” he told aides ältere itunes version herunterladen. “Maybe this is what people want. I’ve got the economy set up well for him. No facts. No consequences. They can just have a cartoon.”
Per the new Ben Rhodes book, here’s what Obama said to him a few days after Trump’s election:

They can just have a cartoon, eh apps gratis herunterladen ios? Suppose that’s better than the perpetually corrupt reality show that would have been President Hillary Clinton.
According to Rhodes, Obama also seemed to be grasping the concept that he may have actually been wrong about something gta 5 ps3 kostenlos downloaden german. That, in and of itself, would be a stunning revelation.
“What if we were wrong?” the outgoing President asked. “Maybe we pushed too far.”
Yea, spending eight years calling everybody who has ever been critical of your policies a racist may have been just a wee bit too far herunterladen.

Still, Obama’s narcissism must have brushed off on his aides who reassured the former President that had he run for a third term, he would have defeated Trump facebook video herunterladen online.

“I couldn’t shake the feeling that I should have seen it coming,” Rhodes admitted.
Perhaps even more startling is his admission that Trump won on the exact same message Obama had used to Hillary’s detriment during their 2008 primary.
“Because when you distilled it … we’d run against Hillary eight years ago with the same message Trump had used,” he wrote. “She’s part of a corrupt establishment that can’t be trusted to bring change.”
