Rep. Ilhan Omar, speaking on the Nation’s ‘Next Left’ podcast, slammed “many parts of the country” that she views as “ignorant.”
The Minnesota Democrat, herself a refugee, was speaking about the process used in coming to America, something she claims Republicans use to intentionally mislead the ignorant.
“And so, it is not that they [Republicans] might not be knowledgeable about this, but they use it as a tool to stir up hate and division, and ignorance really is pervasive in many parts of this country,” she alleged.
Ignorance really is pervasive in many parts of this country?
Maybe in the district that voted you into office, ignorance is prevalent. Perhaps in liberal strongholds like San Francisco and New York City, ignorance is prevalent. But not in ‘many parts of the country.’
Omar Will Save Those Dumb Americans
Do not fear though, fellow ignorant Americans – Omar would like to educate us.
“As someone who was raised by educators, I’d really like to inform people about things that they might be ignorant to, willingly or unwillingly,” Omar glowed.
Or maybe she can start by looking in the mirror.
Omar’s comments are a classic example of projection.
What word, other than ‘ignorance,’ can be used to describe an elected official who, in the last month alone has declared America will not be “the country of white people,” blamed America for the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela, backed dictator Nicolas Maduro, and defended Palestinian terror attacks on Israel?
Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, was so struck by Omar’s ignorance on matters in Venezuela that she felt the need to speak out recently.
“Your comments are so far from the truth,” Haley said to Omar. “Cuba and Russia appreciate your support.”
This is the same woman who ‘willingly or unwillingly’ doesn’t know what happened on 9/11, saying “some people did something.”
It’s the same person who compared the American military to al-Qaeda.
The same individual who actually believes in her own mind that she is President Trump’s “biggest nemesis.”
This is a president who has come to power vilifying and demonizing immigrants and refugees. He proudly said we should halt Muslims from entering our country.
It’s not a surprise that he finds his biggest nemesis in me. https://t.co/vl7tjmnSFr

Omar practically personifies ignorance. Perhaps somebody should educate her to that fact.
