Queen Elizabeth II cracked a joke about President Trump and former President Barack Obama sounding similar to a helicopter making incessant noise when you’re trying to talk, a rare display of her sense of humor to the public.

The queen had been filming with naturalist David Attenborough for a TV documentary, strolling through Buckingham Palace Garden, when the serenity was interrupted by a helicopter overhead.

“Why do they always go round and round when you want to talk?” the 91-year-old monarch quipped. “It sounds like President Trump … or President Obama.”

In a textbook display of media bias, nearly every media outlet is reporting the joke in their headlines as being solely about President Trump, neglecting to mention she said the same exact thing about Obama until further down in the story.

The Queen, despite an insistence on an adherence to protocol and a proper public profile, does occasionally flash her sense of humor, and it does sometimes involve American presidents.

In 2016, she recorded an Invictus Games video with Prince Harry after the Obamas issued a challenge in which they would “bring it” when they arrived.

Queen Elizabeth’s response was, “Oh really? Please,” followed by Harry dropping the mic.

In 2007, the queen teased then-President George W. Bush when he mistakenly said that she had helped celebrate the U.S. bicentennial in 1776, rather than 1976.

She responded later at a formal dinner saying, “I wondered whether I should start this toast by saying, ‘When I was here in 1776 … ‘” to which the crowd erupted in laughter.

Queen Elizabeth II has yet to formally meet with President Trump, who canceled a visit to the UK amidst threats of protest in January.
