According to a new Gallup poll, 61% of Americans agree they are “better off” than they were three years ago when President Trump was inaugurated. It’s the highest level Gallup has recorded in an incumbent re-election year since 1992. In fact, since then, it has never exceeded 50%.
- “If Trump asks Americans whether they are better off than before he came into office,” Gallup writes, “most would say they are.”
Between higher wages, lower poverty, and record-low unemployment, it’s now a verifiable fact that Americans feel better about the state of the nation than before Donald Trump was elected President.Could not load the poll.
Voters’ choice in November couldn’t be more clear: every single one of the socialism-supporting Democrats are offering extreme policies that will take an ax to this unprecedented progress.
- President Trump has helped spark strong wage growth among low-income workers and Black Americans after years of stagnation; Democrats’ policies would lead to cuts in workers’ paychecks.
- President Trump has created nearly 7 million jobs; the Democrats’ Green New Deal would destroy 11 million fossil-fuel supported jobs and spike families’ electrical bills.
- President Trump is fighting for lower health care costs and greater transparency, and he will always protect Americans with pre-existing conditions; the Democrats’ government-run health care schemes would result in 180 million Americans seeing the health insurance plans they get through their jobs taken away.
