Just wanted to wish each and every one of you a very Merry Christmas this year.  While it’s been a tough one for us politically, there’s nobody we’d rather have a tough year with than like-minded conservatives.

Thanks to everyone who visits this web site for taking the time to read and comment.  You are truly appreciated.

And with that, we present a special rendition of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, as read by James Earl Jones and Aaron Neville.

First, a little background courtesy of our little hometown paper, which introduced the world to the most famous of Christmas poems.

Via the Troy Record:

Editor’s Note: Clement Clarke Moore (1779 – 1863) wrote the poem “Twas the night before Christmas” in 1822. It is believed that a family friend sent a copy of the poem to the Troy Sentinel, now The Record, which published the poem in 1823. Over the years, it has become tradition for many families to read the poem on Christmas Eve. We at The Record are proud to be part of this tradition and hope that you share this popular poem with your families again this year. Merry Christmas, happy holidays and may all of you have a happy and healthy 2013.

Enjoy your holidays everyone, and here’s looking to a better, brighter New Year.
