Melania Trump fired back at critics of her White House Christmas decorations, arguing that they actually “look fantastic.”
After unveiling the decorations on Monday, the First Lady fell prey to mockery, with some suggesting the decorations were a quiet message of support to Russia, while others had their fun with the hall of red Christmas trees.
Mrs. Trump explained that this year’s holiday theme of “American Treasures” is meant to “honor(s) the heart and spirit of the American people.”
Some responded with a cold heart instead.
Where you might think the American people could come together and enjoy the beauty of the moment, sad individuals on the left instead blasted Melania for having trees they described as “blood red.”

Vice called the unveiling Melania’s “Christmas from Hell,” while Slate Magazine referred to the setup as the “red Christmas trees of death.”

Melania Fights Back
As she’s demonstrated many times over of late, Melania is not willing to sit back and take insults from the media. CRTV host Eric Bolling moderated a question and answer session following a speech at Liberty University, and she seized the opportunity to clap back at them.
In a shot at the critics, Trump explained that the decorations are simply modern and that “everybody has a different taste.”
“I think they look fantastic,” she boasted, eliciting cheers and laughter from those in attendance. “I hope everybody will come over and visit it. In real life, they look even more beautiful.”

Melania is Really Getting Tried of the Fake News Media
As Bolling stated, with everything going on the world, this is what the media chooses to focus on? Christmas trees giving them nightmares, something that speaks volumes more about their psychological state than anything else.
Melania has been battling back against the press frequently, recently blasting them for “ridiculing” her cyberbullying campaign.
“It is not news or surprising to me that critics in the media have chosen to ridicule me for speaking on this issue,” she said.
The First Lady also famously was caught sporting an “I really don’t care, do you?” jacket, something President Trump claimed at the time was a shot at the media.
“I could say that I’m the most bullied person in the world,” Melania has said in reference to the constant badgering by leftists in the press.
At the same Q&A session with Bolling, she spoke about her campaign to combat bullying, explaining that “sometimes you need to fight back.”
That’s exactly what she appears to be doing.
