Megyn Kelly Wrecks the Girl Scouts For Caving to Liberals By Deleting Tweet Celebrating Amy Coney Barrett

Megyn Kelly slammed the Girl Scouts of America for succumbing to pressure and deleting a tweet celebrating the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

The organization, which presumably seeks to empower girls and celebrate the achievements of powerful women they can aspire to be, caved to critics and lawmakers.

The original post was captioned: “Congratulations Amy Coney Barrett on becoming the 5th woman appointed to the Supreme Court since its inception in 1789.”

The tweet showed each of the five women. Certainly a cause worthy of celebration, no doubt.

Is Trump going to win?

Liberals didn’t think so, apparently. Why? Because ACB is not their kind of woman.

Liberals Outraged With the Girl Scouts Over Amy Coney Barrett Tweet

Leftists were incensed that the Girl Scouts of America would put out a benign tweet celebrating the accomplishments of women in America.

Why this triggered them is anybody’s guess.

Leading the parade of ignorance was Rep. Ayanna Pressley (D-MA) who accused Barrett of being the “antithesis of justice.”

Meanwhile, a “trans person in this organization” claimed they were “ashamed” of the Girl Scouts post.

“Now I really understand that with this message that Girl Scouts really does not support me or my trans/LGBTQ siblings,” they wrote without evidence.

The Girl Scouts quickly deleted the tweet.

In a statement, they explained that the post was “quickly viewed as a political and partisan statement,” something they try to distance themselves from.

Megyn Kelly Hammers the Decision

Kelly, the former Fox News anchor, hammered the Girl Scouts for showing young girls that they needlessly must cave to the outrage mob or to people who may not like their personal beliefs.

Kelly said their actions were “pathetic” and pointed out that caving to the left is itself a partisan move.

“This is pathetic [Girl Scouts],” she wrote. “It’s not ‘partisan’ to generically congratulate the 5th woman ever to join the High Court.”

“It’s patriotic,” Kelly added. “Taking your tweet down *is* partisan, however, and a real disappointment.”

In 2019, the Girl Scouts posted a similar tweet celebrating women elevated to the Supreme Court.

There was little to no outrage at the time. What is the difference?

The 5th woman to break barriers was nominated by President Donald J. Trump.

That is the only difference.
