KUSI, an independent news station based in San Diego, alleges CNN called them looking for a reporter with a local perspective on the border wall debate, but turned down their choice after learning he had run stories in the past that proved a barrier does work mp3 converter german free.
The network said they offered reporter Dan Plante, a seasoned journalist who has “reported dozens of times on the border.”
They bragged that Plante’s work had been linked at the Drudge Report and was even shared across social media by former Speaker of the House, Newt Gingrich herunterladen.
But, according to KUSI, CNN balked at using a report from Plante because it didn’t fit their narrative.
“We believe CNN declined a report from KUSI because we informed them that most Border Patrol Agents we have spoken to told us the barrier does in fact work,” they allege lg smartshare herunterladen.
They slammed CNN during their actual broadcast as well, seen below …
Thursday morning, @CNN called the KUSI Newsroom asking if a reporter could give them a local view of the debate surrounding the border wall and government shutdown videosen vlc. After we informed them about our past reports, they declined to hear from us.

“We have continuously been told by Border Patrol Agents that the barrier along the Southern border helps prevent illegal entries, drugs, and weapons from entering the United States,” KUSI insists, “and the numbers prove it.”
CNN Denies the Accusation
CNN denies KUSI’s accusations, claiming they contacted numerous other stations and didn’t bother using any local reporters google chrome free mac.
“We called several local stations to book someone for a show,” CNN’s communications team said in a statement. “We didn’t end up booking any of them avatar the lord of the elements all staggered. That happens many times every single day.”
Truth be told, if they contacted other stations in the same area where Border Patrol agents all concur the barrier works, then it’s understandable why they didn’t use any time to say goodbye herunterladen. They need reports that say what they want them to say, and anything offering a different viewpoint is not welcome.
Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter then cast blame on every media outlet that ran the story ometv herunterladen.
Yes– it says a lot about the sad state of digital media. Example: Last week my show team interviewed several border reporters from great local papers herunterladen. Then we realized we didn’t have time for the segment. These things aren’t “scandals,” they’re just “daily production decisions.”

The Segment in San Diego Does, In Fact, Work
The new border wall in San Diego was recently credited with stopping every single migrant in the infamous caravan from passing illegally according to Rodney Scott, chief of the San Diego Border Patrol sector from youtube musik.
“I’d like to point out that not a single migrant climbed over the new border wall,” he announced.
Migrants in early December were able to scale older sections at the border near Tijuana.
Scott implied that using the new section as a model to fix other holes in the southern divide between Mexico and the United States would work. That a border wall, newly designed, will stop the flow of illegals into the country and force them to use designated points of entry.
You won’t hear that on CNN.
