It was just one year ago that Hillary Clinton slammed Republicans in Alabama for a law requiring voter ID in the state, claiming voter integrity is racist.

“We have to defend the most fundamental right in our democracy, the right to vote,” she said.

And it was just one month ago that she did the same in denouncing North Carolina’s voter ID law, using another racial argument in saying the concept of showing ID to vote was “a blast from the Jim Crow past.”

If Republicans are racist for wanting people to use proper identification prior to voting, then Team Hillary is probably going to cringe when they see that the following has been released to the public.

Wikileaks has revealed an email exchange between members of Clinton’s campaign team discussing how to court millennial voters.

In it, Joel Benenson, chief strategist for Hillary for America, discusses how they should “co-opt (the) GOP’s argument for photo ID” which he claims “has enormous appeal.”

Benenson writes that the concept of voter ID is worth exploring but that it doesn’t quite line up with their campaign at the moment.

“I do think we should explore ways to Co-opt GOP’s argument for photo ID which has enormous appeal,” he adds however. “Even among some Dem voters.”

Wait a minute – That goes against everything the Democrats have said about voter ID, against the very notion they’ve been trying to portray that Republicans are racist for even making the suggestion.

The hypocrisy is tremendous…

Do you know why it has enormous appeal, Team Hillary? Because asking someone to prove they are who they say they are is common sense, not racism.
