Of course she’ll be touting more spending. It’s an election year, and Democrats equate greater spending to more votes.
From the Troy Record:
U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, D-Brunswick, will be in the Capital District Monday.
After touring PVA Precision Valve and Automation on 1 Mustang Drive in Cohoes Monday morning, the senator will address the Albany Chamber of Commerce to discuss her legislative agenda that is aimed to create good-paying jobs across the Capital Region.
Gillibrand’s plan for future economic growth includes building new transportation infrastructure, investing in manufacturing, encouraging research and development, and ending the partisan gridlock in Washington.
And when she says partisan gridlock, she is absolutely not referring to her voting record… which consists of party-line votes at a rate of nearly 97%. Only Republicans cause gridlock.
