Kellyanne Conway Put Her Feet Up On a Couch – No Seriously, That’s the Big Story Today

Exhibit number 3,765,452 in why the American public doesn’t revere the mainstream media like they once did.

Top White House aide Kellyanne Conway appeared in a picture of President Trump meeting with leaders of the nation’s historically black colleges. She has her feet up on the couch.

And liberals are absolutely setting their hair on fire over the ordeal.

Oh my indeed. The President of the United States, whom the media has actively portrayed as a racist, is meeting with leaders in the black community, and the takeaway is ZOMG! KELLYANNE CONWAY HAS HER FEET UP ON THE COUCH!

We’re not kidding – the phrase ‘Oval Office’ has been trending on twitter. All. Day. Long.

Via USA Today:

Social media erupted Monday night after Kellyanne Conway, a White House senior adviser, was pictured kneeling on the Oval Office couch to snap a photo of President Trumpwith leaders of the nation’s historically black colleges and universities.

The moment sparked an array of emotions from all sides of the viral spectrum …

The photos of Conway, who has come under fire for her comments on the “Bowling Green massacre” (which never took place) and remarks touting Ivanka Trump’s fashion line during a television appearance, sparked sharp criticism as social media users felt Conway was being disrespectful.

The problem is the single photo doesn’t tell the whole story. At all. Conway wasn’t playing with her phone getting in the way of an important historical photo. She was preparing to take her own.

“It’s pretty clear Conway has no ill intent here,” writes Mashable’s Marcus Gilmer.

“So, is this the hill that opponents of Trump should choose to die on?” he adds. “No. The answer is no. Unequivocally no way.”

Mainly because they’ve never been outraged about decorum before.
