Kellyanne Conway Mocks Adam Schiff For ‘Living on TV’

White House counselor to the President, Kellyanne Conway, thinks Democrat Rep. Adam Schiff needs to do less preening for the television cameras and more work on behalf of the American people.

Conway complained that despite being a congressman with presumably a busy workload, Schiff spends more time listening to liberal anchors and reporters through his earpiece on one end, and filling them with lies and half-truths through his microphone on the other.

“They live on TV, especially Schiff, and you know it,” Conway said during a Fox & Friends interview. “This guy leaves the house every morning with his earpiece and his congressional button, and he does a lot more with the earpiece.”

In February, the Republican National Committee (RNC) released a report showing that Schiff is just as popular on the ‘fake news’ networks as their latest sensation, porn star lawyer Michael Avenatti.

He had, at that point, conducted 227 interviews on networks such as MSNBC and CNN.

“Rep. Adam Schiff has used the House’s Russia investigation as his big break, becoming a near-constant presence on cable TV to raise his profile,” an RNC statement read.

Perhaps he should devote more of his time to actually doing the work of his constituents.

Probably because @RepAdamSchiff spends more time at CNN than he does on the Hill.

He seems to be mildly obsessed with placing himself in front of a television camera.

Democrats who like to complain about President Trump’s appearances on Fox News, saying it shows some sort of ideological allegiance to the network, may want to take note. During the same time period that Schiff had graced the airwaves with his Russian conspiracy theories 227 times, Trump had appeared on Fox a relatively tame 21 times.

Conway also laid into Eric Swalwell (D-CA) for his television obsession.

“You see that with Schiff and Swalwell,” she said. “It’s the same thing: attack, attack, divert and deflect.”

“This is the flailing that happens when you’re in an entire political party that seems to have no message for America, no positive message,” Conway continued. “They voted to shut down the government. They voted against the taxes. … These are the folks that have nothing positive to say. They hold up a stop sign.”
