Many of the political shenanigans taking place at these hearings have been coordinated by Democrats, who at one point also considered staging a mass walkout. The tactic was heavily encouraged by the more liberal wing of the party, while leaders ultimately compromised on the stalling and disrupting method.
Proving that, within those chambers, Trump’s Supreme Court nominee is loyal to the Constitution, while the ‘resistance’ party is loyal to their base.
Perhaps they should be asked where their loyalty lies? Guarantee not one of them will be able to whip out a pocket Constitution in response.
