Omar’s comments are another in a long string from members of the ‘Squad’ – a more radical faction in the Democrat party – that they intend to push Biden to do their bidding should he win the election.
The Minnesota Democrat believes “all of the cabinet positions should be filled by progressive Democrats.”
She then ticked off a litany of policies that other Democrat presidential candidates supported but were seemingly too much for voters to swallow as they shifted towards Biden.
“A president is only as successful as his collaboration is with Congress,” Omar explained.
“And we will have a cohort of progressives that are very clear about their objectives for wanting the implementation of, you know, Medicare For All and a Green New Deal and raising the minimum wage and not allowing for fracking,” she continued.
Ilhan Omar: Cabinet Will Force Biden to “Act Accordingly” On Fracking
While several of those programs are too extreme or expensive for the common voter – as evidenced by Biden’s ascendancy to the nomination – fracking has been a particularly tough issue for the Democrat candidate to navigate.
Particularly in such swing states as Pennsylvania and Ohio.
The former vice president caused an uproar when he admitted at the final presidential debate that he would effectively end the oil industry.

Biden has since backtracked on this and repeated past promises to walk away from fracking.
“I never said I oppose fracking,” he said at the presidential debate despite several comments in the past indicating otherwise.
Biden would later tell Pennsylvania voters, “I’m not banning fracking, period.”
Omar’s comments suggest he may have to change his mind regardless.
In mentioning policies that allegedly performed well in Democrat exit polls, Omar said: “That should signal to Joe Biden that these people trusted me to lead, but these were the policies that they want me to lead on and, you know, act accordingly.”

The Squad Threatens Progressives Will Take Over Biden’s Cabinet
Omar’s comments on Biden’s cabinet come on the heels of ‘Squad’ leader Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez threatening to push Biden further to the left should he win the election, particularly on fracking.
“I have a very strong position on fracking,” she told CNN’s, Jake Tapper. “However, that is my view.”
“It would be a privilege to lobby him should we win the White House, but we need to focus on winning the White House first,” she added.
The theme is consistent throughout the fringe element in the Democrat party – we will seek to force Biden to bow to our every whim.
Omar last month stated Biden “is going to be responsive to the policy positions we are advocating for.”

President Trump, meanwhile, has been warning voters that “Biden is just a Trojan Horse for the radical left agenda”
He “will do whatever they want,” Trump predicted if Biden wins the election.
