Hillary Clinton Won’t Forgive Women Who Didn’t Vote For Her

In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, former Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton says she will not forgive women who failed to vote for her during the 2016 election.

Wait, isn’t that sexist? You’re singling out women for scorn and shame over your loss. Then refusing to forgive them?

In the Wednesday interview, Cooper specifically spoke about ‘women and their daughters’ seeking absolution from the losing candidate for failing to vote in the election.

Clinton spoke of one such incident in her new book “What Happened,” sounding like a monarch approached by her subjects seeking forgiveness. The excerpt is bizarre to say the least …

The woman’s “head bowed in contrition” while Clinton fantasized about “star(ing) right into her eyes” and yelling at her for daring to seek forgiveness is peak Queen Hillary.

She expanded on the topic in her interview with Cooper.

“When it first started happening, it was so soon after the election,” she said of roughly two dozen women. “It was hard for me to comfort somebody who was coming to me and saying, ‘Oh, I wish I had done more,’ or, ‘I’m sorry I didn’t vote’ because I think this was one of the most consequential elections that we have faced in a long time.”

“So, no absolution,” she added. “But I just hope people will take what happened this time seriously and be ready and willing to vote the next time.”

The CNN report on the exchange tries to run cover for Clinton, saying she was discussing both men and women. But it’s clear that Cooper had asked her specifically about the “women who didn’t vote.”

“Do you give absolution to women who didn’t vote?” Cooper asked.

“No I don’t,” Clinton responded.

In her book, Hillary also blamed people partaking in the Women’s March for their inability to drag her across the finish line against President Trump.

“I couldn’t help,” she writes, “but ask where those feelings of solidarity, outrage and passion had been during the election.”
