She failed to authorize proper security levels for diplomats abroad, oversaw a terror attack on the anniversary of 9/11, tried to cover it all up by blaming a YouTube video that no one had ever seen before, and then dared to ask a congressional inquiry, “What difference … does it make?”
But that isn’t stopping an organization from bestowing the honor of the American Patriot Award upon former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton. For what? You guessed it … defending our nation.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is once again being honored with an award for her public service.
Clinton will receive the American Patriot Award from the National Defense University Foundation at a gala dinner on Nov. 14. The award is given to “leaders who have strengthened America’s strategic interests and advanced global security,” according to a press release.
“As First Lady, Senator, and Secretary of State, Hillary Rodham Clinton tirelessly worked to support and defend our nation and our allies around the world,” said Al Zimmerman, chairman of the NDU Foundation Board of Directors, in the release.
Yes, nobody works harder to support and defend our nation than Mrs. Clinton. I’m sure Ambassador Stevens, Glen Doherty, Tyrone Woods, and Sean Smith would all agree.
Perhaps David Ubben, the man who suffered for 20 hours with a shredded leg before being rescued, could present the award. Perhaps he could ask her why he was still awaiting the arrival of a plane while she was on camera saying the following: “There is no higher priority than protecting our men and women wherever they serve.”
