Remember this exchange between Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) and FBI Director James Comey?
GOWDY: Secretary Clinton said all work-related e-mails were returned to the State Department. Was that true?
COMEY: No. We found work-related e-mails, thousands that were not returned.
The back and forth was part of a 71-second exchange which carefully laid out the many lies Hillary Clinton told the public.
The House Oversight Committee later produced a video outlining specific falsehoods told by Clinton during sworn testimony.
In that video, Clinton is quoted saying “I provided the Department … with all of my work related e-mails” which Comey’s investigation contradicted.
That lie is being amplified even further today, as a bombshell report indicates the FBI found another nearly 15,000 e-mails and documents on her private server. This is devastating news for Clinton!
Via the Washington Post:
The FBI’s year-long investigation of Hillary Clinton’s private email server uncovered 14,900 emails and documents from her time as secretary of state that had not been disclosed by her attorneys, and a federal judge on Monday pressed the State Department to begin releasing emails sooner than mid-October as it planned.
Justice Department lawyers said last week that the State Department would review and turn over Clinton’s work-related emails to a conservative legal group. The records are among “tens of thousands” of documents found by the FBI in its probe and turned over to the State Department, Justice Department attorney Lisa Ann Olson said Monday in court.
The 14,900 Clinton documents are nearly 50 percent more than the roughly 30,000 emails that Clinton’s lawyers deemed work-related and returned to the department in December 2014.
Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus responded to the latest report by acknowledging what everyone already knows, “Hillary Clinton seems incapable of telling the truth.”
“Clinton’s pattern of serial dishonesty is completely unacceptable for a candidate seeking the nation’s highest office, and her refusal to tell the truth and own up to her poor judgment is a preview of how she would conduct herself if elected president,” Priebus said. “Even worse, this news comes on the heels of the Clinton camp falsely trying to pin her email woes on Colin Powell, raising serious questions about whether she lied to the FBI.”
The RNC Chairman urged disclosure of these new e-mails to come prior to Election Day.
“The process for reviewing these emails needs to be expedited, public disclosure should begin before early voting starts, and the emails in question should be released in full before Election Day,” Priebus said.
