It’s no secret that the Democrats are in total meltdown after the 2016 election. What should have been a cake walk victory ended in the most probable outcome anyone could have imagined.
Now, they’re going to clean house.
Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chairman Tom Perez has requested resignation letters from all current employees as the group tries to significantly overhaul its image after a series of disastrous elections.
Perez, who was named to replace outgoing interim Chair Donna Brazile after it was discovered she used her position at CNN to cheat and provide Hillary Clinton with debate questions, will now try to unite the party by cleaning house from top to bottom.
Via NBC News:
Democratic National Committee Chairman Tom Perez has launched a major overhaul of the party’s organization, which has been stung by recent crises — and the DNC has requested resignation letters from all current staffers.
Party staff routinely see major turnover with a new boss and they had been alerted to expect such a move. However, the mass resignation letters will give Perez a chance to completely remake the DNC’s headquarters from scratch. Staffing had already reached unusual lows following a round of post-election layoffs in December.
Immediately after Perez’s selection as party chairman in late February, an adviser to outgoing DNC Interim Chair Donna Brazile, Leah Daughtry, asked every employee to submit a letter of resignation dated April 15, according to multiple sources familiar with the party’s internal workings.
News of the mass resignations led to swift mockery on social media …
Interesting. The left screamed, cried and had color when President Trump called for resignations. Now the DNC axes all staffers. Hypocrites. pic.twitter.com/07vPij2DFA

Email hacks revealed that the DNC was fully entrenched in supporting Clinton’s candidacy while working hard to derail the Sanders campaign.
Even Perez admitted this fact when he was running for Chair:
“We heard loudly and clearly yesterday from Bernie supporters that the process was rigged and it was,” he said at a political event in Kansas. “And you’ve got to be honest about it.”
The fissure created by knowledge of a rigged system may have led to low voter turnout for Clinton, and ultimately helped sweep President Trump into the White House.
Now the DNC is being forced to sweep out the entire staff and clean up after the mess they left.
