Email Shows Hillary Invited Vladimir Putin to Clinton Foundation Event

Surely if Hillary Clinton won the presidency, Democrats would be screeching to their supporters to ‘Impeach 45’ had they found out she sought to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Wouldn’t they?

An email unearthed by Judicial Watch shows Clinton Foundation director of foreign policy Amitabh Desai providing an invite list to Assistant Secretary of State Andrew Shapiro, regarding dignitaries who were invited to attend the 2009 Clinton Global Initiative meeting.

Among those guests making the cut for the “first round of invitations” were Mikhail Gorbachev, former President of the Soviet Union, Dmitriy Medvedev, then President of Russia, and Vladimir Putin, then Prime Minister.

That’s right, just two months into Hillary’s term as Secretary of State, she had invited the scourge of her eventual 2016 presidential campaign, Vladimir Putin, to attend a Clinton Foundation gala.

There’s your Russia collusion story!

The massive conflict of interest demonstrated in this e-mail – a relationship between the Clinton’s private foundation and her role as Secretary of State – came exactly one week after Hillary met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Geneva, presenting him with an actual ‘reset’ button.

The gesture symbolized attempts by the Obama administration to ‘reset’ relations with Russia.
