It’s a day ending in ‘Y’ so it has to be another day in which CNN tries to spread false news about President Trump.

April Ryan, the CNN political analyst who inexplicably still has a White House Press pass, tried spreading a rumor regarding President Donald Trump being booed at a White House event celebrating America.

The President held the event honoring “the great men and women of our military and the people of our country” after the Philadelphia Eagles staged a political stunt involving their traditional White House visit for Super Bowl champions.

The Eagles tried to reschedule the event to a time when the President wouldn’t be in the country, and when that didn’t work, only one lone player – MVP Nick Foles – was confirmed to attend. So Trump rightfully canceled.

Ryan, attempting to stir up controversy, concocted a story about the crowd turning on the President at his celebration of America, allegedly ‘heckling and booing’ him.

“Breaking: Reporters on the South Lawn have confirmed the @realDonaldTrump was heckled and booed when he came out to celebrate America,” she said in a (of course) since-deleted tweet.

“Confirmed.”

Except, those reports weren’t confirmed at all, and her colleague at CNN, Noah Gray, explained as much in a response which read, “This is not true. There was a protester who shouted at Trump and was booed.”

Good try, April.

Apparently what happened is, a lone man in the crowd shouted at the President, “stop hiding behind the armed services & the national anthem.”

The crowd couldn’t hold back their disdain for a man interrupting a ceremony celebrating America, and booed him – not the President – and mocked him as probably being a Cowboys fan.

The man then shouted, “Let’s hear it for the Eagles!”

Burnishing his unhinged liberal credentials, the man then took a knee during the playing of the National Anthem

In typical fashion, Ryan corrected her “confirmed” reporting and blamed it on “reporters on the south lawn” for misrepresenting the facts. She also claimed that reporters had to review the tape to see what really happened.

Here’s an idea, if you’re not sure, review the tape first, then tweet your “confirmed” reports.

Essentially, Ryan heard booing and, rather than investigate what was going on, decided in her own mind that the people simply had to have been booing Trump. Because … projection. That’s what she wanted to be doing.

Way to keep the notion that CNN is ‘fake news’ going strong, April.
