Client 9 Says Weiner Should Not be Mayor of New York City

After some prodding last night, Eliot Spitzer, former 9th client to high-priced call girls, and currently running for New York City Comptroller, told Hardball’s Chris Matthews that he believes Anthony Weiner should not be mayor of New York City.

Because sexting your junk to anonymous online women is exponentially worse than actually sharing your junk with anonymous real-world women.

Via National Review (h/t Weasel Zippers):

… When pressed by Chris Matthews as to whom he would vote for in the upcoming Democratic mayoral primary, Spitzer — who was forced to resign as governor in 2008 after he admitted to patronizing prostitutes — declined to name a specific candidate. Matthews then asked, “You’re not going to vote for Anthony Weiner, can you just say that right now? You don’t think he should be mayor of New York.” Spitzer answered, “Fair point. That is correct.”

No word on whether or not Spitzer was wearing his black socks during the interview.

Here is the video…
