On Thursday, Richard Overton — the country’s oldest living World War II veteran — will celebrate his 111th birthday with a block party in his East Austin neighborhood herunterladen.

In recent years, Overton has become a celebrity of sorts. Overton grew up near Bastrop and after returning home from his military service overseas, he worked for the Texas Treasury Department in Austin engl herunterladen.
