I don’t watch much primetime TV so I might never have heard of “The Good Fight” if it weren’t for a tweet posted to the show’s Twitter page that points out what the creators call “Easter eggs.” Presumably, the reference is to the practice of hiding eggs on the holiday for young children to find.

The Easter eggs in this particular instance have a bitter taste because they are groupings of words from a printed list that appeared in the last episode. The words in one column spell out the message “Assassinate President Trump,” while a second grouping in the next column reads “Eliminate Mar-a-Lago.”

The tasteless tweet has since been scrubbed though it is preserved as an artifact in retweets of the original:

Trending: Senator Calls Pelosi Out Over Impeachment: 'Must Suck to Be That Dumb'

According to Fox News:

The tweet hit a nerve with some viewers not amused by the Trump reference. Some pledged to stop watching the show while others threatened to contact the authorities.

One user tweeted: “Yes, @CBS this is despicable to run subliminal messages encouraging the assassination of the president @realDonaldTrump I hope @SecretService investigates @thegoodfight thoroughly.”

Another shared : “You know I just reported this to the FBI. Thank you for breaking the law.”

The stunt is just the latest in a string of over-the-top attacks on the president from members of the same political party that once complained that a political map using symbols that looked to some like crosshairs on a rifle scope might incite violence against elected officials. But liberals, who live in an ivory tower, will tell you that the “Easter eggs” called out in the tweet are somehow different or that they are different from conservatives insofar as the Left is non-violent. Someone should try telling that to the journalists who were savagely beaten by members of the left-leaning “activist group” Antifa in 2017.
