Violent leftists have claimed their first injury, as protesters trying to stop a bus transporting illegal immigrants from one detainment center to another caused a border patrol agent to suffer a broken ankle.
The agent was trying to shield a “little old lady” from the protesters.
Reporter Griff Jenkins relayed the story of what happened outside a detainment facility in Texas on “Fox & Friends” on Sunday morning.
“Something we’re learning just this morning, guys, and that is that one of the agents inside here when this bus was moving, when the melee was going on, was trying to control the crowd, was trying to ensure that he also did not step on a smaller little old lady, he broke his ankle,” Jenkins said.
“His ankle is broken this morning.”
The protesters were from the League of United Latin American Citizens, bussed in from cities throughout Texas and numbering in the hundreds.
Jenkins posted video prior to his updated report which shows him interviewing a protester who appears to be trying out for a role at the WWE.
This interview with the Ultimate Warrior is insane …

“They need to leave children alone, this is not the America we fought for and died for,” he said.
“These people that have these children in the bus like criminals,” the same protester screamed. “They haven’t committed any crimes.”
Yes, but the adults who brought them on a criminal adventure across the border did. And by doing so, placed the children in harm’s way. Just about any criminal act that endangers the welfare of a child would result in the government stepping in to protect them.
As for that protester’s plans to stop the families from being detained at the border …
“We’re coming for (Trump) in 2020, and we’re coming for his Congress in 2018!”
Good luck. That’ll be infinitely harder when potential Democrat voters are finally being kept from illegally entering the country.
The border patrol agent’s injury is yet another example of escalating violence from the left in recent days. This time it’s a broken ankle. What will it be next time?
