Potential 2020 White House candidate Beto O’Rourke said he “absolutely” supports tearing down existing sections of barrier at the southern border.
It is a further sign that the Democrat party is lurching ever-further to the left and embracing the concept, however foolish and naive, of a nation without borders.
During an interview on MSNBC, host Chris Hayes posed the question, “Would you, if you could, would you take the wall down here — knock it down?”
“Yes, absolutely,” O’Rourke responded. “I’d take the wall down.”
In fact, the Former Texas Democratic Rep. said he would champion a referendum to make it happen.
Hayes was quick to note on social media that the pair were discussing a particular section in El Paso only. But if tearing down the barrier is good enough in El Paso, then it seems a reasonable assumption Beto would tear it all down.

They Asked, He Finally Answered
Hayes line of questioning was inspired by Texas GOP Rep. Dan Crenshaw who openly challenged O’Rourke to answer one simple question: “If you could snap your fingers and make El Paso’s border wall disappear, would you?”
Fox News anchor Bret Baier had also similarly posed the question to the Democrat last month, questioning if Beto would be willing to tear all walls down in his state because they are allegedly ‘racist.’
“When you begin with the premise that Mexico is sending rapists and criminals to the U.S. and you meet that with a wall, that wall in itself is a racist reaction to a racist myth that does not reflect the reality of this country at all,” Beto asserted.
That’s one way to describe it – But to be clear – would the Congressman like to take all the existing border barriers in his state down? https://t.co/qSotUEH1l9

It appears we now have our answer.
Walls Work Beto
While President Trump continues to fight to secure funding for the border wall, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reminds us that his nation is a success story when it comes to stopping illegal immigration.
President Trump is right. I built a wall along Israel’s southern border. It stopped all illegal immigration. Great success. Great idea ????

You know who else supports walls? Dan Ferguson.
Ferguson’s daughter, 28-year-old Amanda Weyant-Ferguson, was killed in November after an illegal immigrant struck her in a hit-and-run. Where? In El Paso, Texas. You know, where Beto wants to “absolutely” tear down the wall.
Ferguson attended President Trump’s rally in El Paso on Monday night.
He said, “The wall is a great deterrent to illegal immigration” adding that Democrats like O’Rourke “don’t mention anything about the protection of the American citizens here, but they advocate the rights of all these illegal aliens.”
