AOC Complains About Being So Popular She ‘Can’t Even Go Outside’

New York Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez complained that she’s “one of the most hated people in America,” despite the fact her popularity is so immense she “can’t go outside anymore.” aoc popular

In a recent interview with New York Magazine, the de facto leader of the Democrat party lamented the fact that she is despised by the President and other conservatives.

“I know I am also one of the most hated people in America,” she said.

AOC, as she is known to do, suggested that hatred stems from – you guessed it – racism.

The hardcore socialist said that her age and skin color made her a target, calling each factor “a tattoo-on-my-face kind of situation.”

Is Trump going to win?

She’s Soooo Famous

Ocasio-Cortez complained about the negative attention, sure, but she also complained about the positive attention she’s received since being in Congress as well.

She’s such a superstar, you see, that AOC can’t even go out in public anymore. Lest she be mobbed by adoring fans and fellow radicals.

“I can’t go outside anymore. I miss being able to go out to dinner. I miss anonymity,” she whined.

“I have to send my boyfriend out to get groceries. There has been a shift in chores.”

AOC’s popularity is so far off the charts, Politico tried to manufacture a groundswell of support for her to make a presidential run in 2024 or 2028.

No Making Her Happy aoc popular

It seems Ocasio-Cortez isn’t happy no matter the attention being heaped upon her. Which makes one wonder why she constantly seeks attention by making things up out of thin air. You know, like claims that the U.S. is running ‘concentration camps’ at the border. Or that the President killing an Iranian terrorist is an “act of war.”

It’s important to note, however, that it isn’t just Republicans that dislike the New York socialist.

It was a group associated with her own party that leaked a poll in July showing she had a woeful 22% approval rating, after all.

AOC isn’t interested in making friends in the Democrat party, recently calling more moderate candidates the “Tea Party of the left,” moaning that her colleagues don’t think she belongs in Congress, and complaining about being worked too hard by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi.

Still, she views herself as an inspiration.

“As a consequence of my victory, many people are inspired to run for office,” she said.

We’re quite certain just as many have been inspired to run against unhinged extremists like AOC as well. In that regard, she may be right.
