12-Year-Old Crushes It With Amazing Rendition of the National Anthem

If you were in a food coma this past Thursday, or simply more interested in the on-field action during NFL football, you may have missed the most amazing performance of all.

Prior to the Lions and Bears game on Thanksgiving, 12-year-old Quintavious Johnson belted out a version of the National Anthem that would have left most adult performers in the dust. Johnson, a former contestant on the show America’s Got Talent, gave a near-flawless delivery of the Star-Spangled Banner.

After watching videos of Black Friday shopping melees, the video below should help restore your faith in our future generations.

As The Grio explains, Johnson considers his talent to be a “gift God has given” to him.  Johnson sings at his church in Franklin, Tennessee, and when asked about his success during the America’s Got Talent run, he replied “To God be the glory.”
