The only controversy here is how crappy the Super Bowl was, and how badly Roger Goodell is killing the game of football as we know it.
Well, that and the fact that security was so lax at the Super Bowl that a clearly deranged man was able to hijack a press conference involving MVP Malcolm Smith of the Seattle Seahawks.
That said, one 9/11 truther wanted his voice heard, and thus grabbed hold of a mic at the press conference and implored the media to “investigate 9/11.”
Via the NY Post:
A 9/11 “truther” who interrupted the Seahawks’ postgame press conference Sunday night was arrested for criminal trespassing by the New Jersey State Police and jailed, a spokesman confirmed.
Matthew Mills, 30, of Brooklyn briefly held up the start of Super Bowl XLVIII MVP Malcolm Smith’s media session on live TV after the game by screaming that the real reasons for the attacks needed to be investigated.
“Investigate 9/11,” he said. “9/11 was perpetrated by people within our own government.”
Mills was quickly escorted away by police and sent back to his mother’s basement where he will remain until his mid-50s.
The report indicates Mills had press credentials for the event, but his media affiliation as of this time remains unclear.
