Saturday Night Live writer Katie Rich has received word that she’s been ‘indefinitely suspended’ over her vile tweet attacking 10-year-old Barron Trump, son of President Donald Trump.
Rich sent a message on social media predicting that Barron would become this country’s first home school shooter.
The SNL writer eventually deleted her Tweet, and public outcry was so great she would later delete her account altogether.
But Rich popped up three days later with the following message …
I sincerely apologize for the insensitive tweet. I deeply regret my actions & offensive words. It was inexcusable & I'm so sorry.

A sincere apology? Not likely. Rich was probably forced to make a statement as part of her punishment, which we’ve now learned includes an ‘indefinite suspension.’ Finally!
Apparently, not everything goes on Saturday Night Live.
Katie Rich, a writer for the longrunning NBC live show, learned that the hard way.
The “Weekend Update” writer has been indefinitely suspended from the show after she tweeted a comment about President Donald Trump’s son Barron, Mashable has confirmed.
In the tweet, which has since been deleted, she wrote Friday that 10-year-old “Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter,” per Deadline, which first reported the news Monday.
NBC declined to comment.
NBC may have declined comment, but some people had some pretty strong opinions to Rich’s so-called apology.

No regret shown before your employer suspended you indefinitely. https://t.co/nQQ7RKtGat
