It looks like comedian Rosie O’Donnell has seen the light, issuing an apology to Melania Trump for posting a video mocking her 10-year-old son, Barron, by suggesting he has autism.

She did so only after being threatened with a lawsuit.

Last week, the liberal Hollywood moonbat posted a video exploring the conspiracy theory.

In a tweet that has since been removed, O’Donnell wrote “Barron Trump autistic?” along with a video purporting to have evidence to support the argument.

Melania didn’t take kindly to having her son’s name dragged through the mud, threatening to sue the person who published the video.

Not only did he go running scared, but now O’Donnell appears to be doing the same, issuing an apology for her actions.

Comedian Rosie O’Donnell apologized to future First Lady Melania Trump for sharing a video via Twitter that suggested that 10-year-old Barron Trump could be autistic.

“I apologize to @MELANIATRUMP – i was insensitive in my RT – i am sorry for the pain i caused – it was not my intent – i am truly sorry -,” O’Donnell tweeted Thursday.

The 54-year-old comedian shared the video with her 900,000 Twitter followers on November 21, writing “Barron Trump Autistic? If so – what an amazing opportunity to bring attention to the AUTISM epidemic.”

The controversial video was originally posted to YouTube on November 11 by a user named James Hunter.

Sources told TMZ that Melania was “outraged” and “serious about going after the person who posted the video.”

It didn’t take her long to get the video pulled, while both the producer and O’Donnell were forced to apologize.

Maybe now liberals will understand that a 10-year-old should not be game for public humiliation.
