Following eight years of an administration that defended radical Islam with every breath, Vice President Mike Pence has declared that the Trump administration will do whatever it takes to protect the group most vulnerable to “hostility or hatred” – Christians.

“Throughout the world, no people of faith today face greater hostility or hatred than the followers of Christ,” Pence stated.

The comments were made at the World Summit In Defense of Persecuted Christians.

Vice President Mike Pence reaffirmed the Trump administration’s commitment to addressing persecution of Christians around the world and urged Americans to call the targeting of Christians by Islamic terrorists genocide during a speech Thursday.

“Throughout the world, no people of faith today face greater hostility or hatred than the followers of Christ,” Pence said at the World Summit In Defense of Persecuted Christians, organized by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA).

Pence went on to say “The [Christian] faith is under siege.”

He added that worldwide, “over 215 million Christians confront intimidation, imprisonment, forced conversion, abuse, assault, and worse for holding to the truths of the Gospel.”

You wouldn’t know that after 8 years of President Obama, who did everything in his power to make radical Islam the victims.

A study released in January from the Center for Studies on New Religions backs up Pence’s claims. It revealed the reality that Christians are the most persecuted group in the world, and have been for some time.

Last year alone, over 90,000 Christians died for their religion.

While the left will no doubt sneer at the administration’s commitment to protect Christians, Pence tamped down those concerns by saying they would be a champion of all religions.

That is what a true leader and protector of all religious faiths sounds like.
