The Democratic National Convention will feature some peculiar speakers to be sure, but one in particular has raised some eyebrows.

Lezley McSpadden, mother of Ferguson’s Michael Brown, will be one of Hillary’s guests. McSpadden, aside from being the mother of an attempted cop killer, was charged with violent assault in 2014 when she led an angry mob in an attack on people selling t-shirts to honor her son.

That said, the Philadelphia police union noticed that while inviting such an anti-police police advocate, Hillary has not invited any widows of fallen police officers. And they’re not very happy about it!

Philly’s Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 issued a scathing statement.

The last line of the statement (seen below) is absolutely devastating and speaks to Clinton’s character, or lack thereof.

“Mrs. Clinton you should be ashamed of yourself if that is possible.”

Wow.

Philadelphia’s police union issued a scathing rebuke of Hillary Clinton for including relatives of victims of police shootings at the Democratic National Convention but no relatives of slain police officers.

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5 said in a statement that it was “insulted by the exclusion of police widows and family members” as speakers at the convention, from Monday to next Thursday.

“It is sad that to win an election Mrs. Clinton must pander to the interests of people who do not know all the facts, while the men and women they seek to destroy are outside protecting the political institutions of this country,” the statement read. “Mrs. Clinton you should be ashamed of yourself if that is possible.”

Aside from McSpadden’s presence, other Black Lives Matter activists have been invited to bash the police as racists at the DNC, including Gwen Carr, mother of Eric Garner, and Sybrina Fulton, mother of Trayvon Martin.

The vice-president of the FOP5 said his officers consider such a list of speakers to be “a slap in the face to our men and women and their families, who were victimized by the same type of violence, especially in the past weeks when we’ve had eight officers assassinated.”
