It is a speech that changed our nation forever.  50 years ago today, hundreds of thousands of people filled the National Mall to hear Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream.

From the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, King graced us with his vision of racial equality and a path towards unity, a speech that still resonates today as a testament to his will and courage.

King’s speech was about lifting ‘our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood.’ It was about ‘freedom and equality.’

Let change ring from the mighty mountains of New York.
Let change ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.
