The ISIS in Iraq threat is being taken very seriously by the President.  Just ask him.

Taking a break in between fundraising and another round of golf, President Obama took a moment to make a statement regarding the savage beheading of American photojournalist, James Foley.  In his statement, the President vowed to be “vigilant” and “relentless” against the evil wrought by the Islamic State, or ISIS in Iraq.

If the verbiage sounds familiar, that’s because it is.  Prior to embarking on a two-week vacation to Martha’s Vineyard, the President updated the country on airstrikes in Iraq designed to repel the ISIS threat in northern Iraq.  In that speech, Obama also promised to “maintain vigilance,” making sure Americans are safe.

In short, between the time he embarked on his vacation and earlier this afternoon, President Obama was to be “vigilant” against the ISIS genocide being conducted in Iraq, “vigilant” of the growing humanitarian nightmare in the Middle East, and most importantly, “vigilant” toward the safety of the American people.

What happened between August 7th and today?

Here are the top 10 images of President Obama maintaining “vigilance” toward the threat of ISIS in Iraq since he left for vacation…

It should be noted that British Prime Minister, David Cameron cut his vacation short after learning of the Foley execution to host emergency meetings on Syria and ISIS in Iraq.

President Obama meanwhile, you guessed it … went golfing.
